Motorola Razr 2019 with foldable display, Snapdragon 710 chipset launched: Check likely price in India

The much-awaited Motorola Razr (2019) has finally been launched. The reinvention of the legendary flip phone has been unveiled during a press event in Los Angeles. The Motorola Razr features a flexible screen that can be folded. There is a secondary screen which the company has called Quick View external display. This second screen on this smartphone can be used to access notifications, music, Google Assistant, and more. The other highlights of the smartphone include Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, USB Type-C port and OLED HD+ display.

Motorola Razr (2019) price in India

The Motorola Razr (2019) price has been set at $1,499.99 in the United States. This roughly translates to Rs 1,07,400. However, there is no official word on the Indian price at the moment. The smartphone will go on sale in the United States starting January 9, 2020. It will be carried exclusively via Verizon in the country and the wireless carrier will start taking pre-orders beginning December 26 this year.

The smartphone features a 6.2-inch flexible OLED HD+ (876x2142 pixels) screen with 21:9 aspect ratio. When folded, you get a secondary 2.7-inch (600x800 pixels) Quick View display that can be used to take selfies, view notifications, control music playback etc. "The Razr uses advanced flexible OLED screen technology and a groundbreaking hinge mechanism that allows the phone to close with both sides perfectly flush,” Motorola said in a statement. “This engineering breakthrough protects the display and creates an even thinner, more compact design,” it added.

Motorola Razr (2019) sports a single 16-megapixel f/1.7 primary shooter on the phone that acts as a selfie camera in the phone's folded state and as its primary shooter in the unfolded state. There is a 5-megapixel camera inside the phone. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM, and a 2510mAh battery. You get a USB Type-C port and battery supports 15W fast charging.
