Nokia 6 (2018) 4GB RAM to be available on Amazon from May 13; Check price, specs and features

HMD Global has finally confirmed the date for the launch of 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant of Nokia 6 in India. The Nokia 6 (2018) 4GB RAM variant will be available in India from May 13. Amazon has already listed the smartphone on its website. Although Amazon has not revealed the price of the new variant of the smartphone. But the expected price of the phone in India is Rs 18,999. Currently, Amazon is selling the Nokia 6 (2018) 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant in India at a retail price of Rs. 16,999.

Amazon is also offering some launch deals for this smartphone. The offers include No Cost EMI, Rs. 2,000 cashback for Airtel 4G subscribers, free Airtel TV subscription, free 12 months damage insurance by Servify, 25 percent discount on domestic hotels booking through MakeMyTrip, and free customisable prints or 20 percent off on purchases through Picsdream Moments & Memories.

Apart from the RAM and storage capacities, the specifications of Nokia 6, 4GB variant are quite similar to that of the phone's 3 GB variant. The device is constructed of Series 6000 aluminium.

Nokia 6, 4GB variant is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform and the new variant comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage. This smartphone is a part of the Android One programme and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The phone also has dual-SIM option. Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and the storage of the phone expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). A fingerprint scanner is placed to the back of the phone.

With a dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, Nokia 6 (2018) bears a single 16-megapixel rear sensor. In the front the phone sports a single 8-megapixel fixed-focus sensor with the same f/2.0 aperture. 

The connectivity options available in the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm jack, and USB Type-C.
