OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition: Chinese technology firm OnePlus has recently launched a new “Thunder Purple Edition” color variant of its new flagship phone in China. The company also stated that it will unveil the new color variant in other global markets, including India. Last month, OnePlus had launched OnePlus 6T smartphone globally.
According to a BGR report, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Edition will go on sale in India through Amazon India and OnePlus.in from November 16 at 2 PM. The new smartphone will also be available across offline retail channels, including Croma Retail, Reliance Digital, and at OnePlus exclusive offline stores on the same day at 11 AM.
The new color variant packed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage will reportedly be available at Rs 41,999 in India.

The new device can also be purchased on no-cost-EMI for 3 months, said the BGR report.
Meanwhile, Reliance Jio users can get an instant cashback offer of Rs 5,400 in the form of vouchers. On the recharge of Rs 299, they will also be able to get 3GB data daily. Also, over a period of 36-months, users will get a total of 3TB high-speed 4G data.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, the new smartphone will reportedly have a slightly larger 6.41-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen, sporting a 3,700mAh battery.
The new device comes with dual cameras at the back – a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor, said the report, adding that up front boasts of a 16-megapixel camera for selfies, video calling and face unlock.
Notably, OnePlus 6T runs Android 9 Pie with OxygenOS UI on top, and also flaunts an in-display fingerprint scanner.
