The Chinese electronics manufacturer had launched the smartphone in China in November last year for a price tag of RMB 1,599, which is approximately Rs 16,000, and the Indian price tag is expected to remain the same, BGR reported on Friday.
The 'OPPO A57' smartphone will be available in two colour options of gold and rose gold with sleek back finish and curved edges, it said.
According to the report, the OPPO A57 features a 5.2-inch HD (720p) LCD display with 2.5D curved glass.

At the core of the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with Adreno 505 GPU.
The smartphone will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Moreover, it has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF laser focus.
'OPPO A57' includes connectivity options like dual-SIM support, 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB, OTG support and a 3.5mm audio jack. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 software.
After its launch and its assumed price, the 'OPPO A57' in India will go against smartphones like the Moto M, HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, and the Gionee S6s, cited the report.
