Redmi 4 to go on sale for first time on May 23; here's pricing, specs & more

Xiaomi will begin first sale of its newly launched Redmi 4 smartphone on May 23 this week.

Redmi 4 sale will start at 12:00 PM (IST) on Tuesday on mi.com website.

The company had launched the phone into India on May 16 this year.

Pricing & Specifications

The Redmi 4 is available in three variants and is available in two colours- gold and black.

The phone price starts from Rs 6,999 to Rs 10,999.

To put it into context, Redmi 4 2GB RAM with 16GB storage space is priced at Rs 6,999 while Redmi 4 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at  Rs 8,999.

Similarly, Redmi 4 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage space is available at Rs 10,999.

The latest smartphone from Redmi India is equipped with 4100mAh battery and it weighs 150g. 

It comes with a 13MP camera with a five element lens, full HD recording, f/2.0 aperture and real time filters, Redmi India said on Twitter.

The phone has 5HD display with 4G dual SIM card slots with front 2.5D curved glass.

The smartphone comes with internal microSD storage memory expandable with up to 128GB. 

It runs on Snapdragon 435 Octa-core processor and possess fingerprint sensor in order to secure unlocking of phone.
