This smartphone is beyond bizarre! Check out what Essential founder Andy Rubin has just shown

Unlike Apple, Android-based smartphone makers consistently keep experimenting with the design and looks of their smartphones. Over the last few months, we have seen companies bringing foldable smartphones, pop-up selfie camera modules and waterfall display. All these changes in design help companies keep their smartphones fresh and unique. However, there are times when these experiments backfire. For example, Nokia 9 PureView failed to impress buyers with a five camera setup at the back. Even the recently launched Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max had its share of criticism for a weird design.
And, now we have the next smartphone from Essential which is likely to be a talk of the town for days to come. Essential founder Andy Rubin (also the Android co-founder) has recently showcased company's next smartphone which is tall, different and yes, very much bizarre and more.
Rubin took to his Twitter handle to share few images of the smartphone which stands out from everything in the market because of its tallness and narrow built.
The company is also set to introduce a new UI which should run on top of Android. Rubin shared a video of the phone which showed that the maps app on the device might work differently from Google Maps. However, he didn't mention anything about the software
The images confirm that Essential's next smartphone will come with a gradient finish but will take colour shifting to the next level. The smartphone is also confirmed to have a huge camera bump that will come with only one one sensor. There is also a fingerprint sensor under that, and a hole-punch selfie cam in the display. Apart from these features that are confirmed through the images, Essential is expected to offer more exciting features with its latest smartphone.
