WhatsApp trick: Know how to block and unblock someone on iOS and Android phones

The instant messaging app WhatsApp offers chats, video calls, voice calls to exchange information, just talk, recall memories or to stay connected and a lot more. But sometimes we get irritated when there is someone who is just peeping into your personal space and with whom you don’t want to interact with. To avoid such people, Whatsapp thankfully has a block function that removes the contact with just a few clicks, after which the person can never see the contact's last seen, profile picture, status and also cannot send you a message. 

Here are the various steps through which we can block the person from the App.

How to block contacts on WhatsApp:

1. Tap on settings > Account> Privacy> Block contact

2. Open the chat of the person, click on 3rd option from the top right corner with 3 dots. click on more option and then select block contact.

3. Also, you can swap left the chat in your chats tab, then tap more option>contact Info> Block Contact>Block or report and Block

How to block Unknown contacts on WhatsApp:

1. Tap on the option settings > Account> Privacy> Blocked and Add New

2. Open the chat of the person, click on 3rd option from the top right corner with 3 dots. click on more option and then select block number.

3. Also, you can swap left the chat in your chats tab, then tap more option>contact Info> Block Contact>Block or report and Block

How to unblock contacts on WhatsApp:

1. Tap on the option settings > Account> Privacy> Unblock

2. Swap left the chat with the contact in your chats tab, then tap more option>contact Info> Unblock Contact

3. Open chat than tap the contact option and click on unblock option
