Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 launched in India for Rs 35,999

Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix 2 in India on Tuesday priced at Rs 35,999 for the 128GB variant with 6GB RAM. It will be available from the first week of November on Flipkart.

There will also be a limited edition 8GB RAM with a ceramic unibody build available.

Flipkart on Monday revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be available exclusively on its platform in India and on its own site Mi.com. The smartphone was launched at 11:30 am in New Delhi.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 was launched in China last month along with the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. The Mi Mix 2 will be the first premium smartphone the Chinese firm has brought to the country since the Xiaomi Mi 5 launched in March last year.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 features the bezel-less display, which is the highlight of the smartphone. It comes with a 5.99 inch full HD LCD display.

The Mi Mix 2 is lighter, smaller and thinner than the previous version. It features a ceramic body and the smartphone has a built frame out of 7-Series aluminum apart from an 18K gold plated camera ring.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes with a Snapdragon 660 SoC processor, 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage, that is expandable via microSD card.

The smartphone comes with a dual camera setup fitted with two 12 megapixel sensors. One is a wide-angle lens and the other a telephoto lens. In the front it has a 16 megapixel camera with 2-micron pixels.

In terms of the battery it comes with a 3500 mAh. The connectivity options include a 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C.
