EXCLUSIVE Vivo S1 pics: The first smartphone in the Vivo 'S' series, the Vivo S1 is set to be launched in India next week. The smartphone has been teased on several occasions by the Chinese manufacturer on its social media platforms. And, guess what? We have it with us. And, here we bring you exclusive images of the Vivo S1 ahead of the launch. The smartphone is set to be launched in two colour variants: Diamond Black and Skyline Blue. Vivo S1: Launch date and time
The Vivo S1 is set to be launched in India on August 7. The launch event will take place in New Delhi and will start at around 4:30 pm. The phone has already been launched in India and recently arrived in Indonesia as well.
Vivo S1: Camera details
The Vivo S1 comes with a 32MP AI-enabled selfie camera which is one of its biggest selling points. At the back, it sports three cameras includes a primary 16-megapixel sensor, secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and third is a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Vivo S1: Features and Specs
The phone comes with a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. It features Halo FullView display, slim bezels, and offers screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor and packs a 4500mAh battery. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock.
Vivo S1: Expected price in India
The Vivo S1 price in India will be announced on the launch day. In Indonesia, it has been priced at IDR 35,99,000 (roughly Rs 17,800) for 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The Indian price is expected to be around the same mark. However, in India, the phone is set to be launched in three variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB.
Vivo S1: Competitors
In the Indian market, the smartphone will compete against the Realme X, the Oppo K3 and the recently launched Huawei Y9 Prime. Unlike the Z series, the S series will go on sale through offline and online channels.
