Asian shares dropped after Wall Street showed signs of decrease on Wednesday.
MSCI`s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan fell 0.2%.
Nikkei fell 0.5%, on track to snap a six-day winning streak, a Reuters story reported.
The Hang Seng index was up 0.75% at 21,836.08 points at 800 hours
SGX Nifty was also up 0.19% at 8,571.50 points in early trade.
Fluctuating dollar value and a global fuel glut offset forecasts for lower U.S. crude stockpiles that typically would have been bullish for the market, Reuters story reported.
US crude oil was trading at $44.67 a barrel while benchmark Brent was trading at $46.66 a barrel in early trade sessions on Wednesday.
