Salman Khan gifts new Range Rover LWB to his mom: Here is what makes this SUV special

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is known for not only his extravagant lifestyle, but also for his deeds that surprises his fans. The Bollywood superstar, who owns a fleet of luxury SUVs, recently bought a brand new Range Rover for his mother Salma Khan. The luxury vehicle is the top-of-the-line Range Rover Autobiography Long Wheelbase (LWB) version. The car gets Salman Khan’s signature “2727” registration number. The new Land Rover Range Rover, prices at Rs 1.87 crore ex-showroom Mumbai, is in white colour. 

The LWB version offers much more space than Range Rover's regular variant car. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Salman’s mother was eager to buy a new car to be used for her daily chores, therefore, she wanted a small car so that she can reach congested places in the city. When Salman came to know, he gifted her the new Range Rover Autobiography.

Salma Khan is reportedly not using the new car as often as the vehicle is too big and is too high to get in and out comfortably. 

The report said that the version Salman Khan has bought for his mother is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, producing a maximum power of 254 Bhp at 4,000 rpm and peak torque of 600 Nm at 2,250 rpm. This premium car can reach a top speed of 209 km/h and can do 0-100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds.

The Bollywood superstar has a range of SUVs in his garage including pre-facelift Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, last-generation Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and many more, the report added.
