Even though it recently failed to top the most patriotic brand's list, it is evident that there is no stopping for Baba Ramdev's Patanjali which has set eyes on becoming a Rs 2 lakh crore brand in the next five years. From papad to paneer, SIM card to a WhatsApp-like chat app, and beauty creams to toothpaste, Patanjali now offers almost every major daily use items. Here is a list of products that tops Patanjali's plan to become a swadeshi giant:
Dairy and frozen vegetables: Patanjali has marked its entry into the dairy business with the launch of products like cow milk, curd, paneer, cattle feed and feed supplements. It's targeting sales of around Rs 1,000 crore by FY2020. Besides the regular milk, Patanjali would also introduce milk and herbal flavoured milk. Though it won't be so easy for Patanjali to eat into the market share of Amul, Sudha and Mother Dairy, the competition cannot be ignored given the huge customer base of the firm.

WhatsApp: Marred with controversy at the time of its launch, the desi chatting app 'Kimbho' aims to take on social messaging giant WhatsApp. At the Google Play Store, Kimbho app has over 100 thousand downloads as of now, and it yet to be officially launched.
Deshi Jeans: Patanjali's MD and co-founder Acharya Balkrishan had said the company will launch its clothing brand by the end of 2018. The apparel brand will be named 'Paridhan' and will offer Indianised jeans in style, design and fabric besides other clothing.
Divya Jal: If only these were not enough, Patanjali has also announced its foray into mineral water segment. The company has launched packaged drinking water 'Divya Jal' in the Northern and Western market. It has also planned to introduce natural mineral water and herb-infused water. The main rival it will be taking on in this segment is Bisleri.
Solar Panels: The renewable energy is the future and Patanjali has taken its first step in this direction. It has started a plant producing solar panels of 60 MW. It's also constructing solar plants to meet self-sufficiency for its energy demands.
