DDA flats booking 2019: Become houseowner! Check dates, forms, prices; how and where to apply
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to launch its housing scheme on 25th March 2019 (tomorrow), that will provide an opportunity to own a DDA flat in Delhi as there will be 18,000 flats to be sold.
DDA flats Booking 2019: Here's good news for those looking to have a house in the National Capital, Delhi. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to launch its housing scheme on 25th March 2019 (tomorrow). The scheme will provide an opportunity to own a DDA flat in Delhi as there will be 18,000 flats to be sold. According to the scheme, most of these 18,000 ready to sell flats are in Narela and Vasant Kunj regions of Delhi.
Out of 18,000 flats, 7,700 flats shall be assigned to the Economic Weaker Section (EWS) category and 8,300 flats shall be assigned to Lower Income Group (LIG) category. While for Middle Income Group (MIG) and Higher Income Group (HIG) category, 1,550 flats and 450 flats shall be assigned respectively.
People can start applying online under this housing scheme, from 25th March onwards at the official website of DDA i.e www.dda.org.in. The application process will last till 10th May 2019, giving a period of more than one month. The draw process will be held in June/July this year. After that, the process of flat assigning to draw winners will start.
The people belonging to the EWS category will have to deposit Rs 25,000 as application money and LIG category people looking for a one bedroom flat will have to deposit Rs 1 lakh as application fee. While MIG category and HIG category people will have to deposit Rs 2 lakh as application fee for 2/3 bedroom flat.

However, the application fee will be refunded to every individual in case they fail to win in the draw process of DDA flats. The refund process will start as per the DDA housing scheme terms and conditions.

The EWS category people will likely to get a benefit of Rs 3 lakh under the scheme. However, such flats will have a condition of a lock-in period of 5 years. The housing scheme by DDA is linked to 'Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme’ under ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing For All (Urban)’
