How to know if your Rs 500 note is fake:
There will be 500 rupees written in numbers if you hold the Rs 500 currency note and also 500 rupees will be written in Devanagari script. In between there will be a Mahatma Gandhi picture. RBI and 500 will be written in small fonts. Colour of the thread will change to blue if you hold the note in 45-degree angle. Also 500 rupees will be written in small circle and there will be a signature of the RBI governor and in the blank space, there will a picture of Mahatma Gandhi if you hold the note in 45-degree angle. There will be 500 written in English With the rupee's symbol. there will be Ashok Stambh and the year in which the note was produced on the right side. Also pictures of Swachh Bharat logo with Gandhi and of Red Fort will be there.
How to know if your Rs 2000 note is fake:
If you hold the Rs. 2000 note in front of light then there will be 2000 rupees written in numbers, in Devanagari script and in between that there will be a picture of Mahatma Gandhi, Amar Ujala reported. In very small fonts, there will be RBI and 2000 written in the note. When you hold the note in 45-degree angle, the colour of the threat in the note will become blue from green, he said.
There will also be a signature of the RBI governor in the currency note. If you hold the note through its corner, there will be Mahatma Gandhi's Picture and in the right side there will be Ashok Stamb, the report said. In the right-hand side too, 2000 will be written vaguely. There will be the year in which the note has been produced, the logo of India and a picture of Mangalyaan. 2000 rupees will be written in different languages in the currency note.
