No one knows about the kind of budget that will be presented today, that is, is it going to be just an interim budget and will have no mention of big bang announcements for the citizens? Or it is going to present a full-fledged one as the government is eyeing at the general election that is scheduled to be held after few months down the line and come into effect if the BJP comes back to the power?
However, sources have informed Zee Business that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Parliament after Piyush Goyal will end his budget speech. During his address, Modi may announce something on farm loan and farm package. It will be a historic event, if it occurs, as this will be the first time when the Prime Minister himself will announce something after the finance minister ends his budget speech.

In additions, the sources have also informed that the tax-free investment under Section 80C can be increased by Rs50,000 and income tax exemption limit can go up from Rs2.5 lakh to Rs3.5 lakh.
