Konkan Railway Recruitment 2018: KRCL has invited applications for 65 Technician posts in Electrical and Signal & Telecom Department. Last date is April 30 and candidates eyeing Railway jobs should check www.konkanrailway.com recruitment website for latest updates. KRCL through its official recruitment notification has asked interested and eligible candidates to apply online for the posts by April 30, 2018.  Of these Railway jobs posts, 38 posts are related to Electrician Grade-III/Electrical Posts; while remaining 27 vacancies are for Electrical Signal and Telecom Maintainer (ESTM)-II. 

Candidates applying for this  Konkan Railway Recruitment drive posts must be domiciled in the States of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka OR Land loser candidates .i.e. those candidates whose land has been acquired for KRCL project. A separate panel will be prepared for land loser candidates and other than land loser candidates. Priority for appointment will be given to land loser candidates and only after exhausting the panel of eligible land losers, the second panel (other than land losers) will be operated depending upon the shortfall in the vacancies notified.

Opening Date for On-Line Registration of Applications: March 23, 2018.

Last date of Online Registration: April 30, 2018. 

Konkan Railway Recruitment 2018 Eligibility Criteria 

Age Limitation: 18 to 30 Years. The age shall be reckoned as on 01.07.2018

Note: Age Relaxation will be applicable as per the Government Norms .i.e. 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. 

Konkan Railway Recruitment 2018 Educational Qualification

Electrician Grade-III/ Electrical Posts: The candidates applying for the post should have passed matriculation or SSLC from any recognised board. He/she should also carry the ITI certificate in any of the following: Electrician; Wireman; Mechanic; LT Equipments and Cable Jointing and Electronics Mechanic. 

Electrical Signal and Telecom Maintainer (ESTM)-III: The candidates applying for the post must have passed Matriculation/SSLC from any recognised board. He/she will have to carry ITI  certificate in any of the following domains: Electrician; Electronics; Mechanic and  Wireman. 

Fees: 
General Category: Rs 500.
Reserved Category Candidates that includes SC/ST; Minority and Female: Rs 250.

Recruitment/Selection Procedure                                      

The Recruitment of the Konkan Railway Technician Posts includes- Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification. The CBT is tentatively scheduled in the month of June 2018.

Negative Marking: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Salary Structure: Level 02 of 7thPay Commission Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under CDA Scale.
