The remuneration will be provided to the candidate selected for the post according to the 7th pay commission Matrix Level 8 in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4800. The candidate will be posted  in the Public Relations department of Konkan   Railway. Candidates with news reporting experience will be given preference. Educational qualification and experience:
Candidates have to possess a graduate degree in Mass Communication with minimum 60% marks or Post Graduation in Mass Communication with minimum 60% marks in regular   mode from a   Recognised university/institute. Candidate with online journalism degree will be preferred.   Digital   Marketing  qualification from reputed institute is desirable.

Candidates with 6 months work experience in Public Relations and content writing for a Company or having own a running blog for minimum 6 months will be given preference. Strong   writing      and   verbal   communication skills   will be expected from the candidate.  The post notified is provisional and may be changed at a later stage according the need ofKRCL. Konkan Railway holds all the right to alter the vacancies and or cancel the recruitment if required.
