SBI Clerk recruitment 2019: Official notification released for 8653 Vacancies; here is how to apply

SBI Clerk recruitment 2019: State Bank of India has released a notification for the Clerk Recruitment 2019 on its official website for 8653 Posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) (Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2019-20/03). Interested candidates can visit its official website @sbi.co.in. The registration process starts today i.e. 12th April 2019. The application process will complete only when the fee is deposited with the Bank through Online mode on or before 03 May 2019. The preliminary exams will be tentatively conducted in June 2019. The admit cards for the same will release in the same month whereas the tentative dates for Main Exam are 10th August 2019 onward.

The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT). 

The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered an appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter-State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.
SBI Clerk recruitment 2019 

Pay Scale: 
11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110- 2120/1- 30230-1310/1-31450. The starting Basic Pay is Rs 13075.00 (Rs 11765.00 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates. Also, the total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around `25,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.

SBI Clerk recruitment 2019 Application fees:

SC/ST/PWD/XS category candidates are expected to pay Rs 125/- (Intimation Charges only), whereas General/OBC/EWS category candidates have to pay Rs 750/- (App. Fee Including Intimation Charges)

SBI Clerk recruitment 2019 Educational Qualification:

Candidates having Graduation Degree in any discipline are eligible to apply to the post. Candidates who are in Final year of their graduation can also apply provisionally.

SBI Clerk recruitment 2019 Age Limit: (As on 01 April 2019)

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years, Also age relaxation is given to SC/ST for 5 years, other backward Classes (OBC) for 3 years, PWD (Gen/ EWS) 10 years, PWD (SC/ST) of 15 years, PWD (OBC) of 13 years as per government norms.

SBI Clerk recruitment 2019 Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of an online test (preliminary & main examination) and test of specified opted local Languages. 

Preliminary Examination (online):  It will consist of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online mainly focusing on subjects English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability with the time bound of 1 hour

Main Examination: The Main Exam will be online objective type test consists of four subjects i.e.-General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, with the time bound of 2 hours 40 minutes.

After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking.
