This Bullet Train station to be unique, set to be themed around a tree

What really adds a touch of uniqueness to the entire exercise is the fact that the station will have a banyan tree theme, in order to synch it with the city's name - Vadodara, which itself is named after 'vad ka ped'.
The three level Vadodara Bullet Train station would be opened by the end of 2022, according to The Indian Express. This station will replace the existing station and is a part of the bullet train corridor and will also include a government railway police facility, a passenger reservation office, a supervisor office. Other than those, for Indian Railways passengers, this building will also have a separate entrance. Along with these facilities, the station will host longest iron girder bridge of the bullet train corridor measuring 220 meters.
The work on the bullet train project on the Gujarat section has been fast-tracked by the Centre and it is likely to run the first commercial bullet train service between Surat and Billimora by 2022, to coincide with 75 years of Independence.
NHSRCL chief architect Kamini Sharma and her team of three other architects are in charge of these designs and they are collaborating with Japanese team of architect Higuchi and his team.
According to the IE report, by August 2022, the first 50 km stretch will start and the remaining 508 km is likely to start by 2023. In a bid to deliver the project according to the advanced deadline, the NHSRCL is working along with the team of Japanese engineers and they plan to inaugurate the first train on this section and open it to the public.

The report also says that the Sabarmati station would be modeled around the Mahatma Gandhi’s Dandi March and will be a multi-model hub project which will cater to Bullet Trains, Railways, Ahmedabad metro, and rapid transit. Again, the Surat station would be themed around diamonds, which is a signature commodity of the place and the design of the same has also been finalised.
