Amazon offers a monthly subscription for Rs 129 for its new users
Amazon India has rolled out a monthly plan which comes at Rs 129 per month, for customers who wish to subscribe for Amazone Prime. However, the existing Prime members cannot switch to the monthly subscription plan from the yearly one.

Earlier, Amazon only had a single yearly subscription package for Rs 999 for a year. Due to a default activated the auto-renew mechanism, this plan can only be purchased through debit and credit cards. At the end of 30 days, the subscription would be automatically renewed.
This US-based e-commerce company offers several services for their prime customers and those include free fast delivery and free access to prime videos and music.

Amazon Prime service was launched in July 2016, in India, three years after its global launch. Rs 499 per year was the introductory price offered by Amazon which was later revised to Rs 999 per year.
Monthly subscription to Amazon Prime will be useful to the new users who wish to try out the service for a limited period. While the regular users may likely to stick to their yearly plan as it is cheaper compared to the monthly one.
