If iPhoneX is too dear for you at the moment, then wait, reports are indicating that a new affordable version of the smartphone could well be released at around half of its current price of £999 in the UK. However, Apple has not yet said anything about it officially. What most reports are banking on is that some UK retailers have reportedly cut the price of their Apple iPhone handsets. According to The Mirror report, Amazon has slashed the cost of SIM free iPhone 7 handsets to £499. Apple's other handsets, such as iPhone 6, are also reportedly being sold at discounts at various retail stores in the UK.
Acccording to the report, iPhone 6 is available at £319 with e2save's and that is the cheapest price online. The prediction was made by Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities who specialises in predicting Apple's movements. In case the prediction is true, we will be able to lay hands on a new iPhone for cheaper now.
However, this is the mere prediction and there is no official communication about the development. If this prediction holds true then many Apple fans who can't afford the pricey products of the niche company will be able to buy its devices. India is huge market for the Apple products, but it is quite price sensitive.
