Gmail is set to to introduce a new feature called 'Dynamic Email' from July 2 for everyone. 'Dynamic email' for Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari Web browsers on the desktop has been already started from 26 March. The feature allows users to take action directly from the message itself, without leaving the page, like RSVP to an event, fill out a questionnaire, browse a catalog or respond to a comment.
Presently, If users want to take action, they usually have to click on a link, open a new tab and visit another website but 'Dynamic mail' feature removes these efforts and allows to take action directly in the mail.
"Starting today, we’re making emails more useful and interactive in Gmail. Your emails can stay up to date so you’re always seeing the freshest information, like the latest comment threads and recommended jobs," Aakash Sahney, Product Manager, Gmail mentioned in a blog post.
Some businesses like Booking.com, Despegar, Doodle, Ecwid, Freshworks, Nexxt, OYO Rooms, Pinterest and redBus already started using 'dynamic email' feature. Using new feature, Pinterest has made it easier to discover new ideas and save them to boards, while OYO Rooms, allows to browse recommended hotels and rentals, and view details in fewer clicks right from the email. Doodle’s dynamic email, allows to respond to the meetings without opening another website.
"Like the rest of Gmail, dynamic email is safeguarded by best-in-class privacy and security protections," Google blog added.
