Oops! Ad leaks out price of OnePlus 3 a day before big launch
The company has specially introduced an Android app for live streaming called The Loop which is available via Google Play.
Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, is all set to unveil its flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone on Tuesday at 10pm (IST) through the virtual launch event.
However, just hours before the official launch, a newspaper ad in a leading daily revealed the price of OnePlus 3. According to the ad, OnePlus 3 will be priced at Rs 27,999 in India and will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
The ad also leaked the smartphone specs that the OnePlus sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display. The company is using an Optic AMOLED display for the OnePlus 3 as well. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 6GB RAM.

The company also auctioned five units of its flagship device on June 12 ahead of its launch.
So what can people expect from OnePlus 3?
Some of the features include:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor
- Fingerprint scanner which can unlock the handset in 0.2 seconds
- 6GB RAM
- 64 GB inbuilt storage (32GB and 128 GB variants will also be available)
- 16-megapixel rear camera
- 8-megapixel front camera
Other specifications that the OnePlus 3 is expected to have includes a 5.5-inch full HD screen AMOLED display. The smartphone will also come in six variants.
The OnePlus 3 is expected to ditch the iconic sandstone finish design for a full metal unibody instead, according to an Indian Express report.
