Vivo S1 India launch: After the successful introduction of its 'Z' series in India with the launch of Vivo Z1Pro last month, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is set to introduce its 'S' series in the country with the introduction of the Vivo S1 on Wednesday evening. The smartphone was launched in China in March and will be unveiled in India during an event in New Delhi. The global variant of the Vivo S1 was launched in Indonesia last month and most of its features will be carried on to the Indian variant as well.

The Vivo S1 will be launched in India on July 7 i.e. Wednesday. The Vivo S1 India launch time is set at 4:30 pm IST. The phone will be introduced in India in two colour options: Skyline Blue and Diamond Black. To promote the phone in the country, Vivo has signed Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan.

Vivo S1 expected price in India

The Vivo S1 price in India will be unveiled at the launch event. In Indonesia, the phone was priced at IDR 3,599,000 (roughly Rs 17,700), and it is expected to cost around the same mark in India as well. However, unlike the global variant, the phone will come in three different options in India - 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. 

Vivo S1 features and specifications

The Vivo S1 comes with a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. It features a triple rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the front, it bears a 32-megapixel selfie camera and sports an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery.
