He is the only Bollywood star on Forbes’ latest list of world’s highest-paid celebs, beating Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. Oh yes, did we tell you that Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn did not even make it to the list? Well, they did not. The Mission Mangal actor is known to finish films quickly with at least three to four releases lined up year-after-year. But, as you may expect, success hasn't come easy for the actor. And what is Akshay Kumar's money mantra? Hard work! The actor told Hindustan Times that he works very, very hard for each and every penny he earns. Not just that, Akshay said that he puts sweat and blood in it. "Money does matter to me but only in a limited way. And I know it’s my hard-earned money. I work extremely hard for each and every penny. Money doesn’t come easily to you. I have put my sweat and blood for that. So, yes, it does matter to me," Kumar was quoted as saying by the daily.

So, if you want to be rich, then you need to show similar passion for your work. With a total earning of $65 million (Rs 444 crore) from June 2018-June 2019, Akshay has beaten international A-listers like Rihanna, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson in the latest list released by Forbes.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar's latest film Mission Mangal is releasing on August 15 and will clash with John Abraham's Batla House at the box office. 

Meanwhile, he is also start a movie with Neeraj Pandey which will be based around National Security Advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ajit Doval. The filmmaker who will work with Ajay Devgn on Chanakya, will start working on the Doval film once he is done with his prior commitments. 

The other upcoming releases of the actor include Housefull 4, Good News, Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb and Bachchan Pandey.
