Right from specs, features to prices, everything was revealed in the market, but one thing was still not clear - its mileage. This is something that is really dear to every Indian bike driver. Speculation and rumour was rife in the market about Jawa motorcycle mileage, but there was no official confirmation on this. Till now, that is. Putting all speculation to rest, Jawa motorcycles have officially confirmed the mileage aspect. It has been announced that Jawa motorcycle mileage is 37.5 kmpl. Confirming the same, the official Twitter handle of Jawa Motorcycles tweeted, "A lot of you have been asking this. The ARAI certified fuel efficiency for #Jawa and #FortyTwo is 37.5kmpl. Hope this answers your queries."

Recently, Jawa Motorcycles, by means of auction, had raised Rs 1.43 crore for the education of children of Indian Armed Forces martyrs. Jawa-maker Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. held a fundraiser to auction specially curated signature Jawa Motorcycles as part of their Forever Heroes initiative in support of the Indian Armed Forces.
Under the auction, Jawa Chassis #001 was auctioned for whopping Rs 45 lakh.
Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. on 30th March had announced the commencement of delivery of Jawa motorcycles to its customers from the same day. According to the company, the motorcycles will be handed over to customers who had made bookings online from 15th November 2018 as per the booking sequence.
Jawa Motorcycles are powered by 293cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine nestled within a double cradle chassis.
The Jawa and Jawa forty two are priced at INR 1,64,000/- and INR 1,55,000/- respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the Dual Channel ABS variants will be priced at INR 1,72,942/- & INR 1,63,942/- respectively.
The motorcycles are manufactured at the company's Pithampur plant in Madhya Pradesh.
