Sanju box office collection day 4: Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma beat Aamir Khan too now
By earning Rs 25.35 crore on Monday movie crossed the collection of Amir starrer Dhoom 3 that collected Rs 21.71 crore in same period. But also, it failed to cross the mark of Aamir’s Dangal just by Rs 0.34 crore!
Sanju Box office collection Day 4: Ranbir Kapoor movie has received a thunderous response from the audience. The movie is still buzzing at the box office and there is no sign of relenting even as it has entered into the working week part of its release. The movie released in 5000 screens across the world. It has 4000 screens in the domestic market. Rajkumar Hirani directed movie stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead playing Sanjay Dutt. Sanju movie saw a wonderful start by earning more than Rs 100 cr in its opening weekend.
Sanju movie did see a dip in its collection, but that was due to the start of the working week. However, Monday collection was massive by any standards. Still, the movie managed to cross the records of other movies which had a holiday release. By earning Rs 25.35 crore on Monday movie crossed the collection of Amir starrer Dhoom 3 that collected Rs 21.71 crore in same period. But also, it failed to cross the mark of Aamir’s Dangal just by Rs 0.34 crore! Sanju also performed better than other movies like PK (Rs 21.22 crore), Tubelight (Rs 19.09 crore), and Judwa 2 (Rs 18 crore).
However, Sanju managed to kick Dhoom 3 to get into the sixth position of top highest grosser. The movies that lie ahead of Sanju are Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which collected Rs 40.25 crore, Tiger Zinda Hai collected Rs 36.54 crore, Krrish 3 collected Rs 35.91 crore, Bajrangi Bhaijan collected Rs 27.05 crore and Dangal with the collection of Rs 25.69 crore. The films that lie ahead of Sanju got released during the Holiday weekend which helped them boost their collections.

For now, Sanju remains at the sixth position. It is expected to maintain the footfalls in the theatres for the rest of the week. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Sonam Gupta, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Shrabh, Boman Irani, Anushka Sharma and Karishma Tanna.
