Sanju box office collection: Ranbir Kapoor begets highest opening weekend grosser
The worldwide collection of the movie has crossed Rs 200 crore. The movie is now making records instead of just breaking them!
Sanju Box office collection: A movie based on the life of Sanjay Dutt, Sanju directed by Rajkumar Hirani starring Ranbir Kapoor has beaten many records. It was the most awaited and talked movie of 2018. The depiction of the controversial life of Sanjay Dutt is attracting the audience towards the theatres. The movie released on approximately 5000 screens across the world. However, many aspects of the life of Sanjay Dutt have been left out of Sanju movie.
Sanju broke all the records by earning Rs 34.75 crore on the first day of its release. Also, it earned a wonderful 38.60 cr on the second day and by the end of the opening weekend, the movie crossed Rs 120 crore. The movie is doing a tremendous job. The worldwide collection of the movie has crossed Rs 200 crore. The movie is now making records instead of just breaking them!
Sanju easily crossed all the previous releases of Ranbir Kapoor. The opening weekend collection of Sanju has gone beyond the mark of his other movies. His movies like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani collected Rs 62.11 cr, Besharam collected Rs 47.69 crore, Tamasha collected Rs 34.60 crore, Rajneeti collected Rs 38.23 crore, Rockstar collected Rs 33.60 crore, Jagga Jasoos collected Rs 33.17 crore and Roy collected Rs 28.68 crore.

Sanju’s day 1 collection is more than some of Ranbir’s opening weekend collection. No other movie of Ranbir except Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani could cross Rs 50 crore in three days but Sanju crossed Rs 100 crore. And this collection is comparatively very high. As the weekdays started, the movie is expected to see a dip in its earning but it will still manage to earn a good amount. The movie is still running superb and it stands alone in the theatres without any competition. Sanju collection is predicted to cross Rs 27 cr on day 4.
The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Shrabh, Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza and Karishma Tanna.
