Soon this service will be available for its users, WhatsApp is finally experimenting the new group call shortcut on Android.
The Facebook operated social media platform WhatsApp has now decided to enhance its services. WhatsApp is reportedly working on different plans to introduce changes on the messaging app platform. According to Wabetainfo, Whatsapp has came up with its new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.18.363 version.
Whatsapp is also planning to bring new group call shortcut feature for its users.
Soon this service will be available for its users, WhatsApp is finally experimenting the new group call shortcut on Android.
Before for group call the user needed to start a normal call first, then you could add other contacts in the call. But now if the update comes it will minimize the steps of call and the complication will be reduced.
The feature works exactly like on iOS.
The moment you see Group Call button it means that the feature is enabled to use.

It is said that the feature will be remotely enabled in the next beta updates. The company will soon announce when the feature is enabled for everyone on the beta.
How to use this new feature?
1. You can start a new group call directly tapping the new Group Call button
2. After tapping that button, WhatsApp presents a sheet where there will be listed all group participant
3. After you choose the contacts you want to start a call with, WhatsApp will ask you the option of a voice and a video call, so you can choose the type of the call.
