Infinix S4 design and looks
Infinix S4 comes in three colour variants - Nebula Blue, Space Gray, and Twilight Purple. At first sight, S4 does does not feel an affordable or entry-level smartphone. It has a dual tone gradient glass look that looks stylish and attractive. Though it may not offer a glass finish at the back, sports a decent built quality and comfortable grip. On the front, it has a 6.2-inch HD+ waterdrop display (720x1520 pixels) that adds more beauty to its design. The glossy back is a fingerprint and scratch magnet and you may need to wipe it off again and again. While the box contains a clear case, that can keep your phone safe from scratches and dust up to an extent. Talking about the design further, it has a mini USB charger, stereo speaker and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom and a fingerprint scanner at rear. while a volume rocker and a power button on right side. Though, it packs a 4,000 mAH battery, the phone feels extremely light in hands. Overall except a wide chin at the bottom, the phone looks good.
Infinix S4 performance and hardware
Just like Oppo A1K and Realme C2, Infinix has also bundled a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC to power the S4 , which is common in this price segment. The phone features a 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, which is a good package at this price. Though we had a upper variant that has 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, which was quite impressive during long hours usage. However, Infinix S4 doesn't lag 8 out of 10 times, while switching between apps in the menu or during waking up display to use. Talking about gaming or mutitasking, Infinix S4 plays most of the games quite well. No major lags were there during small or medium-sized games.
However, the phone experienced frame drops and few lags when tried playing heavy games like PUBG on medium settings. Switching it back to lower resolution, it went well. Continuous gameplay of 30 minutes witnessed a little heat at the top rear, while overall there were no severe heating issues at all. S4 managed to multitask well without any problems.

From watching Youtube videos to using social media apps along with GPS at the same time, S4 did a decent job. Coming on the battery, it offers a 4,000mAh battery that easily serves a day with average usage. While during continuous gaming and multitasking, the battery drop was quick which took 2 hours 10 minutes to charge 100%.
